    Nelonen Media – entertainment to the Finnish taste

    Nelonen

    Nelonen is our main TV channel. Nelonen´s focus is on major Finnish entertainment, international quality series and top movies. Nelonen also produces its own news every day. Varied range of programmes reach widely different target groups from singles to families, but the focus is on urban 10-44 year old. Nelonen is the second biggest commercial media in Finland.

    - The average reach of a day is 1,8 million Finns (10+)
    - 70 % of the viewers are under 55 year old

    JIM

    Jim is a TV channel focused on entertaining factual content and offers both real-life stories and action entertainment. Jim´s viewership focus on urban adults, both male and female.

    - The average reach of a day is 894 000 Finns (10+)
    - 60 % of the viewers are men and 40 % are women
    - Reaches 60 % of the people between 25 – 44 years old

    Liv

    Liv is a TV channel with lifestyle focus. Liv provides inspiration for life and offers feelgood entertainment targeted particularly at 25-44 year old women. In addition to lifestyle programming, Liv also broadcasts series and movies. Programming is based on five distinctive blocks: Home, Me, Relationships, Icons and Series & Movies.

    - The average reach of a day is 693 000 million Finns (10+)
    - 69 % of the viewers are women
    - Reaches 56 % of the women between 25–44 years old every week

    Pay-TV channels

    Nelonen Media´s ad-funded channel offering is complemented by the pay-TV channels Nelonen Pro 1 and 1 (sports), Nelonen Kino (movies and series), Nelonen Maailma (documents) and Nelonen Perhe (family programmes).

     

    Nelonen Media radio stations

    In addition to the eight TV channels, Nelonen Media also operates two strong target audience radio stations. Radio Rock is the leading rock radio station in Finland and has an outstanding following among male listeners. It has about 700,000 listeners weekly and 79% of them are men. Radio Aalto is a radio station targeted at women in Finland. It has about 411,000 listeners weekly.

    Nelonen Media online services

    Ruutu.fi is Nelonen Media´s catch-up TV service that brings access to programming content from the different Nelonen Media channels as well as lots of video material related to programmes and news. It has over 1,5 million video start-ups at best a week and its growing steadily.

    Each channel and station also has a website that deepens the consumer relationship by offering extra programme-related content and popular discussion forums.
